NEW! Camper Care Packages
Dec 16, 2011 by
Mary This summer is the first time we will offer a new, exciting item in the store: a care package to be delivered to campers from their parents! We will put some of the best items from our store (even a few for free!) into a newly designed CentriKid backpack for campers from their parents. Children’s ministers: you also can bring a letter from parents to slide down into the backpack before you pass them out to the camper as well, making this an extra special package to receive at camp! It’s like getting a package in the mail during camp… but better because it’s CentriKid gear!
Here’s what you get in the care package: (a $35 value for $30)
- a CentriKid backpack ($10 value)
- an OMC T-shirt voucher... Come back to the store and get an OMC shirt in the perfect size and team color ($10 value)
- a pair of sunglasses for those really bright days at recreation ($3 value)
- a handheld fan to cool them off ($4 value)
- a bracelet to remind them to pray for the Africa and Canada, our missions focus ($2 value)
- a carabiner to keep up with their keys ($1 value)
- a poster of the staff to get signed and to hang on the wall at home as a reminder of what God did at camp this summer ($2 value)
- a watch, so campers will be on time in style ($3 value)
We’ll deliver these to group leaders on Monday night during Adult Gathering. You can choose when to give them to your campers. We are so excited to provide an opportunity for parents to send mail without having to pay any postage at all!!!
Mary Carlisle works on Group Leader Information, where you can find more details about these care packages. She's excited to see kids receive these at camp and get decked out for their teams! Mary helps order and stock the camp store, so let her know if there's something you'd like to see as a part of the care package in the future!
